Oh Taylor…. she sings the songs of my soul. So when I found out that the one and only Taylor Swift was coming to London to play in Hyde Park for the British Summer Time festival, I nearly died. I asked all of my London friends if anyone was interested… they weren’t (ummm…. what?!!?)… so then I started asking my American friends…. in America.
Lucky for me, one of my besties flew all the way from DC to go see Taylor and sing at the top of our lungs in Hyde Park with 65,000 dedicated fans on the most glorious and gorgeous summer evenings I have ever experienced…. and yes, I was drunk (ish). It was divine.
But before – we hit up Pride in central London for the parade and some other fun… here is all the proof…
Selfie before leaving… as we do.
Selfies and sunnies – the theme of the day.
Making friends with the coppers at Pride.
Gorgeous girls, lots of love.
Then we started drinking cocktails out of cans…the beginning of the end….
Kissy faces all day long
Even the banks love the gays!
Drag queens against cancer…
Gotta get me some wings for next year…
It really is…
More selfies among the masses.
Bumming around town being silly….
Piccadilly Circus does Pride.
More can drinking in Hyde Park before Ellie Golding came on.
Me taking a picture of this….
We love birds with long legs!!
£100 for the dad in the background!
Oh haaaaay TAY!
It just never stopped….
Summer… palm trees… setting sun… heavenly
Love me like you do!
Then T Swift came on… and I died.
Welcome to New York!
Can’t stop, won’t stop.
She is my hero…
We were far away but it was still amazing.
Every outfit was to.die.for.
After the concert was over, it took us hours to get home…. but we still managed to get into a wee bit of trouble, after late night fish and chips in Soho!
