Jumpin’ jumpin’

This is definitely a post for my 30 x 365 series – you may remember that I was planning on spending my third week down under diving and lounging on the beach. A few days before I was set to head to the Great Barrier Reef, I checked the weather and it was horrific – storms all day, every day – so I decided to re-route my trip to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast (where the weather was still sunny and warm).

But I wasn’t going to give up on my thrill seeking – so instead of diving under the sea (cue Little Mermaid music), I thought I would try another kind of diving… sky diving! The team at SkyDive Australia were amazing and I can’t recommend them enough.

Post landing selfie (anime face) – it was St Paddy’s day, so the luck of the Irish was with us.

I was completely overwhelmed by the whole experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. For those of you who are lucky enough to know me in the real world, there is a video up on my Facebook.
