After all of the excitement of May (moving and Rome), I had a relatively quiet June in store… emphasis on the relatively. With July just around the corner, here is a little update of what kind of trouble I got into this month in London.
Saatchi Gallery – Rolling Stones Exhibit
Friday nights in the office….
Saturday nights at the ballet
Swan Lake at Royal Albert Hall
Aperol Spritz for lunch
Open air theatre at Regent’s Park – Running Wild
Working on the roof terrace at the office on the rare days that feel like summer
G&Ts and Spritzes all summer long
What a biche.
Mexican street food and Coronas on a Friyay with one of my besties who came all the way from Africa
Sailing to Isle of Wight
Sun barely peeked out
But that didn’t stop the champagne
Wedges for brunch
Story of my life (on my phone and in pink)
Sunday roast at the Windmill in Clapham with my girls
Spritz on spritz on spritz
If it doesn’t have bubbles, we don’t drink it
My lovely flatmate’s leaving drinks (from her old job) at the Anthologist
Preparations for the 4th of July Housewarming UK vs US Party in July
My office is turning into an American party store.
So June was full of fun adventures in and around London… the next four weeks are a bit more planned out and exciting… (summer swanning in full force):
- two weddings;
- one baby shower;
- one boozy 4th of July UK vs. US housewarming party;
- the firm summer party;
- Beyonce at Wembley Stadium;
- flatmate date night – Guys and Dolls with Rebel Wilson;
- a few brunches and birthday parties;
- two surprise weekends away on the continent (to be disclosed in later blogs);
- a weekend in Edinburgh;
- oh, and I should probably do some work…. at some point… or whatever.
