A weekend in Baaawwth

While most of my four years in London were spent at the office, I was determined to spend my last month getting out of town – exploring parts of Europe and the UK that I hadn’t yet had the chance to explore. For one of our last UK-based weekends, we decided to grab a train to Bath and spend the weekend getting our spa on in the Roman ruins.

We spent the weekend wandering around the small town, indulging in excessive amounts of clotted cream, tea and afternoon roasts and lounging in the hotel’s private thermal spa. If you ever get the chance to go to Bath, you must must must stay at the Gainsborough Spa Hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous, the service is impeccable and their restaurant is divine. Definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Plus, access to the hotel’s private thermal spa is included in the price of the stay.
